The week after Christmas, I was digging through our desk in the office when I found my crochet hooks. All six of them. The moment I laid my eyes on them, something started itching. And that itch needed to be scratched. I had some yarn (okay, a few skiens) left over from one of the Christmas gifts I made Erin (another post for another time). One skein I used as a white elephant gift and ironically, I came home with my own gift! So, I grabbed a hook and went to town. Over the last two weeks, I’ve come up with what seems to be a new line of products for my business! It took a good part of a day to get back into the rhythm. After all, it’s been 10 years since I crocheted anything. And back then, it was all afghans. These creations were an entirely new territory for me. As I sat in front of You Tube practicing a magic loop (new concept for me), Erin kept looking on asking, “what are you making?” in such a fashion even a broken record could have been jealous. After a few duds (one of which Erin is ever so happy to dub her 3rd lovey), I think I’m getting the hang of this again and I’m DEFINITELY addicted again! Here is a photo timeline of my creations:
I’m currently working on a Plush Crochet Cow which I’m super excited about!! The Bunny, Chick and Lamb are all now available in my Etsy Shop as of today! They will make a great baby shower gift, Easter gift or just an addition to a child’s entourage of lovable, snuggable, plush security!
Now back to working on that cow. I hope you are “mooooved” by this recent post!
